Kelly Harper is currently a Creative Producer at Bento Box on their Development and Special Projects teams, overseeing the development of new and existing IP across multiple genres (most recently Rats of Nimh and Elfquest.)

Prior to joining Bento Box, Kelly was a Director of Development at Comedy Central where she managed the digital incubation pipeline resulting in pilot development of the popular web series Blark & Son and Loafy (created by Bobby Moynihan.) During her time, Comedy Central’s digital channels tripled their subscriber base and watch time which contributed to the channel winning the 2021 Webby Award Media Company of the Year.

Past credits also include Producer at Broadway Video’s digital comedy studio, Above Average, where she supervised the production of over 100+ sketches and was a producer on Paula Pell’s web series, Hudson Valley Ballers. Kelly got her start at Lion Television, working on such esteemed series as MegaDrive, History Detectives and the Emmy award winning game show, Cash Cab. If asked, she’ll gladly tell you what it was like being a young 20-something driving a cab around New York City after dark.

Kelly is a member of Women in Animation, the Sierra Club and the Women's Sailing Association. She is an avid rock climber, skier and hiker but she is most passionate about breaking down barriers to entry into the entertainment industry for emerging and diverse talent.
